The 4 Trends Your Organisation Must Adopt in 2019: Part 4
Over the last few weeks we have discussed the trends that should be adopted by Australian organisations in 2019. So far, we have explored Human Centred Organisations, engagement, and wellness in the workplace; bringing us to the last trend in this four-part series, Workplace strategy.
Workplace Strategy
Workplace strategy is a term which has quickly become a buzz word in the evolution of working in recent years. Workplace strategy refers to the combination, or arrangement, of the physical environment, human environment, cultural environment and the technological environment of a workplace.
The orchestration of these key elements as a coordinated strategy is needed now, more than ever, as the Australian workplace is rapidly evolving and becoming increasingly disruptive.
Due to this, many organisations have decided to rethink the paradigm of work as a primary outcome or function of any workplace. This is replacing the use of department heads in the areas of IT, Human Resources and Facilities Management, that don’t have a coordinated approach.
Organisations are now asking themselves the questions of:
- What is our work?
- How do we do our work?
- How do we support our team to do this work?
- How do we meet their needs in the workplace?
Defining these answers and developing a coordinated strategy surrounding your workplace will ensure that all the functions are working counter productively.
Adopting this trend in 2019 is a key element in not only your organisations short-term success, but in its successful longevity: Contact Hubb Consultants to find out how you achieve this approach.
