World Day for Safety and Health at Work – April 28

Sunday the 28th of April is World Day for Safety and Health at Work, and Hubb Strategic Workplace Consultants are taking the time to promote health and safety in the workplace and to not forget to put themselves first when needed.

Young employees are at a greater risk of workplace injury, not just because of their lack of experience, but a decline in workplace health and safety processes and responsibilities resulting in a lack of awareness to these procedures.

Hubb is emphasising the importance of health and safety within the workplace. It is essential to not only improve the health and safety of the workforce’s older generation of employees, but to lay a new foundation of awareness for, and improve, our younger workers and our generations to come.

So, how can you help Hubb improve upon workplace environment and influence employee health and safety?

  • Provide the appropriate tools and training to complete workplace tasks safely,
  • Educate your young c about WHS rights and responsibilities, and
  • Empower your young employees to have the confidence to speak up about health and safety in your workplace.

There is nothing more important to Hubb than ensuring all our team members are safe both on and off-site, and we are ready to take the steps to guarantee this. Are you ready?
